Our Mission

Our MissionOur mission is to rebuild or repair transmissions that meet or exceed O.E.M standards. Through our line of work, we extend every effort to insure our customers receive the best in drive train repair. To accomplish overall customer satisfaction the following measures are implemented in repairing a vehicle’s drive train.

  1. A thorough inspection of the vehicle’s performance for diagnosis. Diagnosis include:

    • Fluid condition, level, and leak check
    • Vehicle diagnostics
    • Vehicle road testing
    • 4x4 transfer case inspection (if applicable)
    • All differential, driveshaft, and axle check
    • All other forms of malfunctions related to drive train

  2. Once diagnosed the malfunctioned unit (transmission, transfer case 4x4, differential (front/rear), driveshaft, or etc) is removed

  3. Technicians then give a further inspection to the vehicle to determine if any other factors may have contributed to the unit’s failure or malfunction.

For the courtesy of our customers, other systems outside the drive train are inspected if they show signs of malfunction, damage, or poor performance. Customers are then alerted of our findings and the severity of the malfunctioned component is put to their attention.

    These other systems may include:

    • Brake system
    • Chassis/suspension system
    • Steering system
    • Cooling system
    • Frame and Unit Support system

Some of these repairs may be done at our shop, call or come visit and consult with one of our technicians for more information.

  4. Once the unit is removed all the diagnosed information is then given to the builder. The builder disassembles the unit and inspects the unit for the root of internal damage. The builder then assembles a list of all parts needed to rebuild the unit. The builder runs an extensive series of tests and inspect all parts of the unit. These test are done to insure the unit meets or exceeds O.E.M. standards. The unit is then rebuild and assembled for the outcome of a finished unit.

  5. The unit is then given to the R&R (remove and replace) technician. The R&R technician paints the unit and prepares it for installation. The unit is then installed into the vehicle along with any other components agreed upon repair by the customer and National Transmission Technologies. Once all components are installed, components and units are filled with fluid. The vehicle is checks for leaks and proper installation and is giving the go ahead for further inspection.

  6. The vehicle is then scanned (if applicable) for malfunction codes set by the vehicles computer. The vehicle is taking on a road test and is checked for its performance.

  7. Once the vehicle passes all inspections. The customer is alerted that the vehicles ready to be picked up. The customer is given a summary of the vehicle’s services, repairs, information on warrenty, routine follow ups *at no additional charge*, and maintenance information included in the repair invoice.

This completes the steps we take in insuring our customers receive the best in drive train repair.
